block & ignore all antis, don’t argue with them, delete their anons, don’t listen to a single word they say or rumor they start, and don’t think for a single second that any creators give one (1) fuck about what they think challenge
GeekDad: The first question I wanted to ask, because I haven’t really seen anyone talking about this: Keith’s dad and Shiro are wearing the same vest.
Lauren Montgomery: Yeah, that was something I think Joaquim came up with. We never really figured out where Shiro got his outfit from so we decided to work it in with this nice little reference to Keith’s past. His dad was a firefighter and that was his firefighting uniform and so, ultimately, his father passed away. And we come to the present where Shiro shows up, and all he has is some Galra prisoner spandex that he doesn’t want to wear anymore, and Keith gives him his father’s old outfit. So that’s where Shiro gets his outfit; it’s Keith’s dad’s old uniform.
My very late contribution for Voltron season 6
There’s lot to say, everything in this season is just fantastic! I thank you all the Voltron crews and everyone involved. I’m really glad to have discovered such an amazing series!
that gratuitous sci-fic/horror shit of Shiro’s prosthetic literally eating its way up his arm and bursting through his skin??
Seriously, he was this,
And then he became this,
There should be little doubt left about (1) just how disposable Haggar considered this body (this person). His task here, is to burn himself out and die, while making sure Keith goes with him (which does cast an interesting light on how when this cannon comes out, Keith doesn’t immediately get vaporized, but that’s another post for another time).
And there should be equally little doubt that (2) regarding the more indirect attacks Kuron has brought to bear against Keith (the verbal abuse, the destruction of their surroundings, the lack of restraint or breathing room: things that demoralize), Scorched Earth–with himself as the earth–is definitely among them.
